PRACTICAL APPLICATION
This section is designed for someone with little to no experience in the field of corrosion control or does not have corrosion control as a career path. There will be hands-on demonstration of the application and testing of cathodic protection. A voluntary test will be offered after the course.
Basic Section
This section will present topics related to the corrosion control and cathodic protection field consisting of variety of case studies, regulatory requirements, and new innovations.
Intermediate Section
This section will discuss corrosion fundamentals, rectifier maintenance, coatings, stray current interference and other key elements related to the field of cathodic protection and corrosion control. A voluntary test will be offered after the course.
ADVANCED SECTION
This will be an open forum with advance training of design and application of corrosion control. A voluntary test will be offered after the course.
Special Topics
This section will provide a structured course designed to assist in the preparation for the Cathodic Protection Tester Certification test, including basic electricity, corrosion fundamentals coatings, basic interference, and CP testing and measurements. A voluntary test will be offered after the course.
Rectifier Class
This course provides the fundamentals of rectifier maintenance, components, operation, and troubleshooting. Separate registration is required, and the class size is limited.
Hands on Display
This will be an open forum with multiple stations. Several knowledgeable industry professionals will be available to demonstrate, answer questions, and help students use equipment at each station.
